Philadelphia Flower Show Inspired Food & Deals

One of the best things about slow cooker recipes is that so many of them are really simple. There are literally hundreds of one dish dinners you can make in a crockpot. If it is important to you to feel your family healthy, nutritious and varied meals, the crockpot could well turn out to be your best friend.



1) Use your slow cooker crock pot beef bourguignon. For those of you who have visited my website or read my articles, you know that I love my crock pot. Use your slow cooker beef bourguignon for the vegetables, potatoes, soup, or even dessert! Or if you prefer and it's large enough put the meat in your slow cooker beef bourguignon and use your oven for the side dishes.

Place the butter and chocolate in a medium microwave-safe mixing bowl and microwave in 30-second increments, stirring after each, until the chocolate is melted. Add the sugar; stir to combine. Whisk in the eggs. Add the flour mixture, walnuts, and chocolate and stir just until moistened (do not overmix). Transfer to the slow cooker and smooth over the top.

Use a recipe specifically created for slow cooker beef bourguignon cookers. If you are dying to convert a traditional recipe to a crock pot recipe, there are some rules to follow. For example, unless you're making soup, you'll typically want to decrease the amount of liquid you add. Because a slow cooker retains moisture, you can sometimes end up with more liquid at the end of the cooking time than you had when you started and this can dilute the flavors of your dish.

You're salivating at the thought of eating all the foods that you thought were surely forbidden when going on a diet, but wait, 'How much is this going to cost?' you're wondering. Well it doesn't take a genius to work out that this is an awfully good deal. How else can you be guaranteed to lose weight, and eat healthy and delicious meals everyday?
